DUTCH DISCOVERIES AT LIFF 2023
LIFF 2023 presents a special selection of films from the Netherlands as part of Leeds 2023. Dutch Discoveries includes three new feature films in Official Selection, a programme of short films in LIFF SHORTS, and three rarely-screened archive films in Rear View.

"The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the UK is overjoyed with the decision of Leeds International Film Festival to programme a range of films from the Netherlands this year. The year that Leeds is celebrating a Year of Culture. The festival has hand-picked some tremendous ‘Dutch Discoveries’ for film lovers in Leeds, including brand new feature films and shorts, as well as some true classics.
"In the Year of Culture 2023, the people of Leeds can enjoy films, visual arts, theatre, dance, music and more from the Netherlands. Artists from the Netherlands have worked closely with communities and organisations in Leeds. They’ve created amazing things together and valuable experiences have been shared among them. Moreover, thousands of people have enjoyed the creativity that came out of these exchanges.
