BFI NETWORK industry day at LIFF 2023
We are delighted to host a BFI NETWORK industry day with masterclasses, screenings and social activities for early career filmmakers, organised by Film Hub North as part of LIFF 2023.
The industry day runs from 1pm to 7.30pm on 8 November at Hyde Park Picture House. From 1pm to 5pm, the line-up includes a screenwriting masterclass with the team behind Rye Lane, and discussions about creating a BFI NETWORK-funded short, sustainability in film production, and making a living as a filmmaker. At 5pm there is an hour of networking followed at 6pm by a showcase of some of the freshest shorts from Northern filmmaking talent, ending around 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £5 and include entry to the entire industry day. If you can't attend the daytime line-up, you can book separate free tickets to the evening shorts showcase.
