Watch a movie, concert style. Cinema on the Square is our summer open-air cinema in Millennium Square, where we celebrate the movies and music with a line-up of films that has something for everyone. Part of the Summer Series, an annual series of outdoor gigs from world-renowned blockbuster acts and emerging artists.
Cinema on the Square will be back for 24 July - 26 July 2024 for a larger programme of handpicked films across several new collections including Classic Concerts, Family Films and in celebration of the Paris 2024 Olympics, Paris Stories - featuring the famous City of Light and its diverse depictions on screen. We'll also be closing the 3 day event with our Friday Finale of the instant cult hit, Barbie.
Our first ever Cinema on the Square took place on Sunday 30 July 2023 and screened Roald Dahl's Matilda the Musical, Stand By Me, Summer of Soul, and finishing with a rare screening of the musical Daft Punk anime, Interstella 5555.
