Our new LIFF Spring Film Weekender is a mini-festival taking place in April where we show new film previews for the some of the best independent cinema of the year so far. It replaces our previous weekly film series, LIFF Presents. The first LIFF Spring Film Weekender took place 26-28 April 2024 at Vue in The Light, opening with a sold-out screening of Love Lies Bleeding, the long-awaited new film from Rose Glass, director of Saint Maud. It closed with La Chimera, the latest magical cinematic treat from Italian Alice Rohrwacher, director of Happy as Lazarro and The Wonders.
Due to the success of the festival we are looking to bring it back for 2025 with dates and information to be announced closer to the time.
