At LYFF, we believe in cinema's transformative power for learning and self-expression. We provide a variety of engaging and interactive activities, such as workshops, masterclasses, and hands-on filmmaking experiences, which give young people the opportunity to explore various aspects of filmmaking, develop their skills and gain a deeper understanding of the artform; our aim is to inspire young people and nurture the next generation of filmmakers and storytellers!
In addition to our annual festival, LYFF is dedicated to promoting film education throughout the year. We work closely with schools, educators, and community organizations to deliver engaging film programs and initiatives that enhance the curriculum and provide unique learning experiences. Through our collaborations, we aim to foster critical thinking, media literacy, and cultural understanding among young audiences.
