Mark your calendars and brace yourselves for a cinematic odyssey as we gear up to unveil our most extensive and vibrant edition of Leeds International Film Festival.
This year, Leeds International Film Festival, the largest film event of its kind in the North has just gotten even bigger. LIFF 2023 will take place from Friday 3 to Sunday 19 November, making it the longest edition ever with 17 days of the best independent films from the UK and around the world. The longer duration means that LIFF 2023 will include three full weekends for the first time, so you have even more opportunities to explore the epic LIFF programme.
We're also thrilled to officially confirm that we're returning to the historic and recently re-opened Hyde Park Picture House as one of the key venues for LIFF 2023. The newly refurbished and expanded cinema will host the LIFF 2023 opening film on 3 November and continue to screen films for most of the duration alongside its regular programme.
We will announce select programme details including the opening film later in September and then reveal the full programme on 11 October. You will be able to reserve seats later in September for our very popular programme launch events on 11 October where you can meet the LIFF team, view over an hour of trailers of LIFF 2023 films, and pick up a copy of the free guide which will also be distributed across Leeds and West Yorkshire.
