Leeds Young Film Festival (LYFF) is an annual celebration of cinema and film for children and families.
The festival presents a curated selection of family-friendly feature and short films that champion new narratives, places, and characters. Alongside screenings, LYFF offers workshops, VR experiences and hands-on filmmaking activities to inspire the next generation of storytellers and creatives.
Taking place in the Easter Holidays, LYFF welcomes all families, with affordable films and activities so every young person can get involved.
LYFF also promotes film education year-round through collaborations with schools and community organisations.

The Leeds Young Film Festival (LYFF) is hitting the road with a carefully curated collection of short films from around the globe! We currently have three packages of short films touring across the country. Our short films are handpicked by Leeds Young Film Festival curators and are rated for all ages.
