Volunteer at LIFF 2025

Volunteer applications for LIFF 2025 are now closed.

Leeds International Film Festival (LIFF) is an Oscar® Qualifying Festival for the winners of our Louis le Prince International Short and World Animation Competitions, as well as BAFTA and BIFA qualifying for our British Short Film Competition winner. Our venues include cinemas like Hyde Park Picture House, Vue at The Light Leeds, and Everyman Leeds. In 2024, LIFF had over 250 screenings representing over 50 countries.

The 39th edition of LIFF will take place between 30 October — 16 November 2025.

Volunteering for LIFF is coordinated through Volunteer Team Leeds, a volunteering platform home to volunteering opportunities within Leeds City Council. To apply for our volunteering roles, you will first need to sign up and complete your Volunteer Team Leeds profile.
