Presented in November, LIFF is one of the UK’s leading film festivals and a qualifying event for the Academy Awards, BAFTAs and the BIFAs. LIFF is organised by the Leeds Film team, part of the Arts, Events & Venues service at Leeds City Council. Leeds Film also organises Leeds Young Film Festival for children, the INDIs for ages 16 to 25, and year-round activities.

PAID ROLES
Events and Guests Services Assistant
Leeds Film is looking for an Events and Guests Services Assistant to support the
delivery of the main screening and industry events during LIFF 2026 and the
provision of services for guests including juries and filmmakers. The applicant should
be someone with a genuine interest in helping on events and looking after guests,
and be passionate about independent film and festivals.
Digital Content Production Assistant
Leeds Film is looking for a Digital Content Production Assistant to support our Digital
Content Producer in creating, editing and organising video content for LIFF 2026.
The digital content required will include trailers, sizzle reels, idents, guest interviews,
festival highlight videos and other on-screen promotional content. The role will
include mentoring and training from the Digital Content Producer. The applicant
should be someone with a genuine interest in event video production and with
some experience in filming and editing video content.
