Paolo Strippoli is an Italian director and screenwriter. He made his directorial debut in 2021 with A Classic Horror Story, a Netflix Original film co-directed with Roberto De Feo, which won the Best Director Award at the Taormina Film Festival.
In 2022, he directed his second feature film, the psychological horror Piove. In 2025, his third film, La Valle dei Sorrisi, was released in cinemas. It was presented Out of Competition at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival and won both the Audience Award and the Best Director Award in the Next Wave Competition at Fantastic Fest.
