Press Accreditation
LIFF welcomes press accreditation applications from people with a range of backgrounds and experiences across print, broadcast and online channels. This included established media outlets to emerging journalists, bloggers and content creators.
Accredited press will get free access to films and events at Leeds International Film Festival, alongside press releases and updates, access to digital press screeners and selected public screenings where available. Press delegates at LIFF 2026 are expected to write and publish content about the festival and screenings in return for this access to films and events. There is no charge for Press Accreditation.
As part of your application, you’ll need to provide details of your media outlet and examples of recent coverage from the past six months. Rules for use of the press pass will be sent to delegates if they have been accepted. You will be required to bring photo ID to screenings when using your press pass. Press applications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and is not guaranteed.
PRESS ACCREDITATION WILL OPEN IN SEPTEMBER.
