Words of Love

Rudi Rosenberg’s warm, funny and heartbreaking Words of Love features captivating performances from new young actors Nour Salam and Mateo Danila, the brilliant Hafsia Herzi, and a mudi shepherd as a cheese-obsessed stray dog.

Erika is the anchor of a household that rarely stands still, doing her best to raise teenage Abigail, and her whirlwind little brother, Yoni. When Abi hears that her long-absent father has been seen nearby, Erika fears the fragile family balance will collapse for good.

"A classic melodrama centred on its main characters, deliberately modest yet highly effective, shot in a realism beautifully captured by cinematographer Éric Dumont." — Fabien Lemercier, Cineuropa
