Debbie Maturi

Debbie is the Festival Director for INDIs Film Fest and Leeds Young Film Festival. She is passionate about connecting children & young people with powerful storytelling, both as audiences and filmmakers and has worked for over 25 years to make a diverse range of opportunities in film accessible and inclusive.

These include year-round screening events and initiatives such as BFI Film Academy Short Courses for filmmakers, the VR Cinema project and creative learning programmes both inside and outside of school.
