Edie Barnabas

Edie Barnabas is a filmmaker and programmer from the North of England working across experimental cinema. She founded the DIY film night Slime Presents, supported by the British Film Institute, and has programmed for Sheffield DocFest, Bolton International Film Festival and GoShort.
Her filmmaking takes a dreamlike approach to narrative, exploring the relationship between body, history and consciousness. She has worked with Arts Council England and the National Science and Media Museum, and is interested in collective storytelling and alternative ways of experiencing cinema.
