Evangeline Spachis

Evangeline Spachis is a freelance film programmer and regular contributor to Leeds International Film Festival, most recently as a co-host of the Night of the Dead, the legendary all-night movie marathon. She has hosted screenings at the National Science & Media Museum, led lectures at HitchCon and Beeston Film Festival, as well as chairing Q&As at Bradford Queer Film Festival.

While completing a Film Curation MA, she was able to indulge in her love of horror (and finding queer subtext in pretty much everything) by establishing Queer Fear film club in Leeds, which hosted its first events at LIFF five years ago. She is also a core team member of Scalarama Leeds DIY Film Festival.
