Franz Böhm

Franz Böhm is a BAFTA-winning director. His feature documentary debut 'Dear Future Children' (2021) won the German Documentary Film Award and audience awards at Max Ophüls Prize Festival and Hot Docs, and drew more than 90,000 cinema admissions worldwide. His short 'Rock, Paper, Scissors' won Best British Short Film at the 2025 BAFTAs and was shortlisted for the 2026 Academy Awards. He is a graduate of the National Film and Television School.
