Khara  Linton-Salmon (she/her)

Programmer, British and Yorkshire Short Film Competitions

Khara Linton-Salmon is a writer, producer and budding film programmer based in Liverpool. Her passion for film has allowed her to work in various roles from writing film reviews to working for film and arts festivals all over England, like London Film Festival and Sheffield DocFest.

She is currently running her own film project in Liverpool called BGW (Black Girl Watching); originally created as a personal film diary, it’s now a film club that promotes Black/Black British filmmaking and aims to create an accessible space in which everyone can engage in thought-provoking discussions about film. When not gushing about movies, you can find her baking.
