Laura Jayne Hodkin

Laura Jayne (b. 1995) is an animator and filmmaker from Derbyshire, now based in Yorkshire. She graduated with an MA in Animation from the Royal College of Art, and her films have screened worldwide, including Annecy, Ottawa, Slamdance and Pictoplasma.

Her work sits between humour and vulnerability: awkward, hopeful, scrappy and occasionally unhinged.

Laura has collaborated with Adult Swim, Bento Box, Blink Industries and Netflix on series development and animated content for TV and web. Her clients include Apple, Bodyform, Giphy, The New York Times, TED and Warner Music.

She’s a big fan of video games, horror comedy and people watching.
