Volunteer Coordinator

Matthew has worked with Leeds Film since 2019 in a number of different roles. Currently he is Volunteer Coordinator for Leeds International Film Festival, INDIs Film Fest and Leeds Young Film Festival. Prior to this he has worked as a freelancer (and occasional volunteer) at a number of festivals in the North including Leeds Light Night, Sheffield DocFest, Bradford Literature Festival, Pilot Light TV Festival and Manchester International Festival. Since 2023 he has also been part of the team that delivers LIFF's 'Night Of The Dead' horror event.

Matthew is also researching a PhD in Film at Manchester Metropolitan University and is an independent film programmer across Manchester and Leeds under the banner of 'Reel Gems Film Club'.
