CEO of Tyneside Cinema, Newcastle’s iconic cultural venue with a remit to take the charity and expand its offer, ensuring it’s unique, relevant and alternative offer with a sustainable future showcasing talent in the region.
Appointed in 2019 as the Strategic Lead for UK City of Culture for Bradford Council, leading the successful Bid for the UK City of Culture 2025. As part of her role, she also developed a Screen Strategy which led to the development of The Unit, a new screen talent hub in partnership with Channel 4.
In 2015, in her role at East Street Arts as Director of External Relations, she developed the 2015 strategic plan. During her five years, she helped to build the reputation of East Street, securing two major new capital assets, The Art Hostel & Convention House.
In 2009 Nic founded The LS14 Trust, a local community organisation in Seacroft where she grew up.
