Spotlight Forum 2026 relocates to Leeds

We're excited to announce that the Spotlight Forum 2026 will take place in Leeds on 4 November.  

Themed The North Star: Connecting Our Creative Community, this year’s Spotlight Forum sponsored by Streets brings together performers, talent agents, casting directors, and directors for an engaging day of panel discussions, practical masterclasses, policy roundtables, and performance showcases.

Forming part of the 40th anniversary edition of the Leeds International Film Festival (LIFF), the event celebrates the thriving creative sector across the North of England, positioning the region as a central hub for UK production and casting.

Based in the hub of City Square and utilising both Leeds Carriageworks and Leeds City Museum, the day will cover a range of critical industry topics spanning regional production, child safeguarding legal reform, northern soaps’ contribution to cinema, and mental health behind the scenes.

The day will culminate with an afterparty in the city centre, marking the start of Spotlight's own 100 year celebrations beginning in 2027.
