In the Fanomenon Day of the Dead finale, Indonesian genre master Joko Anwar delivers a wild combo of martial arts action, graphic horror, pitch-black humour, and social commentary, topped with dance battles and performance art prayer routines.

When a high-security prison led by a tyrannical warden is rocked by a series of gruesome murders, with the bodies of victims put on spectacular display, rival gangs and outcasts are forced to unite against the invisible demon.

"Anwar once again delivers the perfect balance of social commentary, graphic gore, and slapstick comedy in Ghost in the Cell. The spectacular action flick throws everything at the wall, and mostly, it sticks." — Rebecca Sayce, Filmhounds
