Pino suffers from haemophilia and has spent his whole life watching the other children play outside from the safety of his apartment. When one of the kids sees him spying on them, she visits the strange 'Glassboy' and discovers him to be clever, funny and a great artist. Excited to have some real friends, Pino is determined to leave the safety of his room and enjoy life outside but his illness is an ever-present threat, as is his overbearing grandmother who wants to keep him locked up for his own safety.

A moving drama filled with humour about following your dream and the power of friendship.

Suitable for 8+ due to scenes of peril and threat and one use of moderate bad language.
