You don't have to wait until November for your next LIFF experience! The new LIFF Spring Film Weekender will take place 26-28 April at Vue in The Light and will include previews and exclusive screenings of the best new films from around the world.
The Weekender opens on 26 April with Love Lies Bleeding, the long-awaited new film from Rose Glass, director of Saint Maud. On 27 April, we present the Oscar-nominated Four Daughters from Tunisia, Romanian satire Do Not Expect Too Much from the End of the World, the captivating and mysterious Blackbird Blackbird Blackberry from Georgia and dark comedy horror Sleep from South Korea.
On 28 April, we present: two Venice Film Festival award winners, beautifully-nuanced coming-of-age story City of Wind from Mongolia and powerful refugee drama Green Border from Poland; the heartbreaking drama Àma Gloria from France; and the Weekender closing film La Chimera, the latest magical cinematic treat from Italian Alice Rohrwacher, director of Happy as Lazarro and The Wonders.
To make the most of the weekend, we also have a special ticketing discount. If you buy one or more tickets for a certain number of films you will receive a discount.
- One or more tickets in 2-4 films - 15% discount on all tickets
- One or more tickets in 5 or more films - 25% discount on all tickets
The discount applies to multiple tickets in a screening. So if you buy 5 tickets in 2 separate screenings the 15% discount will apply to all 10 of those tickets.
