Attention all young witches and wizards! Grab your broomsticks and be transported to the magical world of Harry Potter with Leeds Young Film Festival. We'll be screening the first three spellbinding movies as part of Harry Potter day at LYFF 2024 and we invite you to join us at Carriageworks Theatre dressed in your finest wizarding attire, whether homemade or not!
And we are excited to welcome back The Flying Squadron, who will be bringing some real live owls and a flying display in the auditorium alongside other fun mini-activities before the film. Just arrive 30 minutes before the start time to 'meet' the owls and get involved. The Owls are only present before the 2nd and 3rd films of the day but we'll have a range of other activities including our very own Sorting Hat, a chance to Design your own magical creature and testing your knowledge in our Harry Potter Trivia quiz. Grab a quiz sheet before or after each film - and see how much you really know about witchcraft and wizardry.
