This bold, haunting thriller shot on 16mm from Cosmic Salon (Jack Auen and Kevin Walker) follows a neuroscientist who stumbles onto a conspiracy surrounding a mysterious device.

Respected scholar Béatrice Courte becomes increasingly obsessed with the real-life story of a Benedictine monk who claimed to have invented a mechanical device capable of replaying events from any point in history. As the audience is pulled deeper into Béatrice's rabbit hole of research, the lines between fact and fiction begin to blur in this eerie, analogue mystery.

"Rarely has a film so resourcefully evoked the transportive but decidedly analog thrill of reading." — Guy Lodge, Variety
