The search is on for a beloved lost dog in this quirky detective story set in a small South African community.

Claire Abrahams, a self-appointed neighbourhood detective in Cape Town, runs a lost and found service where she locates anything and everything that has been misplaced. When Optel, the community dog, disappears, Claire goes in search of it. But his absence leads her down unexpected paths, even uncovering clues to her missing brother.
