LEEDS YOUNG FILM FESTIVAL 2026

Easter Holidays, 28 March - 19 April

Leeds Young Film Festival (LYFF) is an annual celebration of cinema and film for children and families that gives young audiences access to a rich variety of on-screen stories, helping them feel seen and understood and creating exiting new shared screen experiences for families.

The festival presents a curated selection of family-friendly feature and short films that champion new narratives, places, and characters. Alongside screenings, LYFF offers film workshops, VR experiences and hands-on filmmaking activities to inspire the next generation of storytellers and creatives.

Taking place in the Easter Holidays, LYFF welcomes all families, with affordable films and activities so every young person can get involved.

Tickets for all our films and events will be on sale from February. The full programme of films & workshops will be announced in February.
