Beth De Araújo's masterful and devastating drama Josephine won the top dramatic grand jury prize and the audience award at Sundance Film Festival.

In a stunning child performance, Mason Reeves plays 8-year-old Josephine who witnesses a rape in a park while out with her father Damien (Channing Tatum). In the aftermath, while suffering from the effects of the trauma, Josephine seeks to understand what she has witnessed and the part she has to play in the search for justice.

"Josephine is a heartbreaking film, but not without hope. It’s brilliant in its performances and gives us Channing Tatum's best. This also proves that Beth de Araújo is one of our bravest new voices." — Kristy Strouse, Film Inquiry
