Journey deep into Mexico’s forests in Otilia Portillo Padua’s beautiful and immersive exploration of the hidden worlds beneath our feet.

Indigenous mycologists Lis and Juli bring scientific practice into dialogue with ancestral knowledge as they study the extraordinary networks of fungi that sustain their ecosystems. Blending documentary with science fiction elements, this lyrical, transportative film offers a profound vision of our interconnectedness with the natural world.

"Crafted with artistry that simply demands the big screen." — Lauren Wissot, International Documentary Association
