Pegah Ahangarani turns four decades of Iranian resistance into something profoundly personal in this urgent and deeply moving documentary.

Structured around five people who shaped her life, she traces a history of protest, repression and enduring hopes for change from the 1979 Revolution to the present. Carefully weaving intimate memories with a remarkable wealth of archival footage, this stirring debut asks what it means to keep resisting when revolution remains unfinished.

“A perceptive, poignant chronicle of great hopes and even greater disappointments.” — Alissa Simon, Variety
